The Panasonic WJ-HD500
Hard Disk Recorder offers an advanced triplex feature allowing simultaneous live
monitoring, recording and reproduction. Layered recording allows individual
camera recording and recovery from motion detection, activity detection or hard
contact alarm inputs. Nothing does a better job combining advanced surveillance
functions with the modular flexibility for today’s surveillance applications.
In addition, the WJ-HD500AV2 can be further enhanced with large volume CD-R and
DVD-RAM archiving solutions (not included in this basic version).

• Single screen viewing when unit “paused” while switching from
multi-screen and single screen viewing modes

• Playback of alarm channel in alarm record playback – can be different from

viewed in live mode
• Up to 40 events can be selected for archiving on the optional DVDRAM or CD-R
archiving solution
• Built-in 80GB HDD; an additional storage can be added for up to 3.1 terabyte
capacity
• 4 virtual recording systems in one unit allow specific site recording
• RAID level 1 (mirroring) for reliability
• 4-way JPEG compression recording modes selectable
• 720H x 480V (frame), 720H x 240V (field) pixels selectable
• Built-in 16 channel multiplex recording system
